Our client, a local news provider, is seeking a creative and dynamic Senior Graphic Designer to join their Brand & Strategic Marketing team. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the development and execution of impactful marketing campaigns designed to drive digital subscriptions across an extensive network of local news markets nationwide. Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Strategy, you'll collaborate closely with teams spanning research, strategy, design, technology, and production, ensuring campaigns consistently reflect and elevate brand standards.

This role emphasizes a strong creative vision, proficiency in graphic design and video editing, and experience with targeted email marketing. You'll be responsible for creating visually engaging campaigns, editing compelling video content that highlights the value of local digital journalism, and ensuring brand consistency across all creative assets. Additionally, you'll partner closely with multidisciplinary teams to market new subscription products, such as mobile apps and podcasts.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of graphic design and creative marketing experience, preferably within a news organization, digital agency, or consumer branding role.

  • Proven track record in creating and editing high-quality visual and video assets for recognizable media brands.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

  • Experience developing successful email marketing and social media campaigns.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to meet client needs in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field required.
