"The Ampersand holds a lot of meaning in my life. What started out as an inside joke between friends and former co-workers transformed into a calling sign and eventually a shared symbol to myself and several important people in my life. It's a reminder to me of what talented individuals can accomplish together when they love what they do, and they like who they work with. It also stands for ongoing journey and shared experiences, which to me is a perfect way to sum up my work life. Whether you are celebrating wins, commiserating losses, or trauma bonding over a pint, its the shared work experience that we regularly reflect on. I constantly seek to find ways to make organizations better and to place candidates into roles where they can have an amazing shared experience. I revel in the moments where I can say that I have made someone's day and ultimately their career better. And in doing so, I am improving the organizations that I work with too.
