Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a Global Media Agency, are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to key financial processes, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while working directly with senior finance and business leadership. This is the perfect position for someone looking to move from Analyst to Senior Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyze, and distribute monthly utilization reporting to business leads, providing commentary as appropriate.

• Work with the manager to deliver comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.

• Assist in preparing monthly revenue/expense forecasts.

• Support month-end close processes, including revenue/expense calculations, journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments to revenue-related accounts.

• Review operating expenses and prepare monthly expense analyses for internal review.

• Complete all scheduled and ad hoc reporting.

• Assist in preparing supporting documents for financial audits.

Qualifications

• Results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic who can operate effectively both independently and in a collaborative environment.

• Advanced MS Excel modeling skills (e.g., Lookups, Pivot Tables).

• Proficiency with MS Office/PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse groups across the organization.

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Passionate about finance and driven to continuously improve performance and service delivery.

• Comfortable working directly with senior finance and business leadership.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA (or progress toward certification) is a plus.
