About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven leader to take charge of new business development, driving strategic growth and forging meaningful partnerships with top-tier brands. As the Group Director of New Business Development, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our client portfolio—introducing new brand relationships while strengthening and evolving existing ones.
This high-impact role sits within the leadership team, collaborating with experts across research, strategy, design, technology, and production. You’ll be responsible for crafting and executing our business development strategy, identifying and engaging prospective clients, and leading the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing. Success will be measured by maintaining a healthy pipeline, achieving strong conversion rates, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
Responsibilities
• Lead business growth efforts by developing and executing strategic initiatives, owning revenue goals, and overcoming challenges that arise.
• Identify, qualify, and nurture high-value business opportunities, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at top brands, cultivating long-term partnerships.
• Own the entire sales process, from lead generation and pitching to negotiation and deal closure.
• Develop and refine processes, tools, and best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of new business efforts.
• Partner with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with brand positioning and thought leadership.
• Regularly track and report on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and business development KPIs.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of securing high-value partnerships.
• Expertise in developing and executing business growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in closing deals and fostering long-term client relationships.
• A well-established network of industry contacts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Previous agency experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed (minimum 30%).
We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse team and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth, we’d love to hear from you!
