Our client is seeking a passionate and innovative Product Marketing Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of marketing efforts for a groundbreaking consumer robotics product. This role is ideal for someone looking to make an immediate impact at an early-stage company, where your strategic decisions will be instrumental in shaping the success of an exciting new home robot.
You will be responsible for collaborating closely with internal teams including engineering, design, and external creative agencies to gather market insights, shape the product strategy, and execute effective go-to-market initiatives. Your expertise will guide everything from early-stage user research and concept validation through to the execution of launch campaigns and sales growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
User Research & Testing: Plan, design, and conduct comprehensive user studies to validate and inform product concepts, including robot personality, behavioral features, pricing, and user experience.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement clear product positioning, compelling messaging, and strategic launch plans to meet and exceed pre-sales and ongoing sales objectives.
Agency & Contractor Management: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with external creative and PR agencies to ensure alignment with brand identity and strategic objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering and product design teams, integrating consumer insights to refine product functionality and enhance user experience.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies and messaging to maintain a strong competitive advantage.
Performance Tracking: Establish, monitor, and analyze critical success metrics, including pre-sales, sales performance, and campaign effectiveness, to demonstrate clear ROI and continuously optimize marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within consumer electronics, robotics, or related fields.
Proven ability to independently develop and execute successful marketing strategies from initial concept through launch.
Strong background in user research methodologies and translating insights into actionable product decisions.
Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with external creative agencies.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product value to diverse audiences.
Comfort and enthusiasm for working in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments.
